Hello World! I’m Camille.

I write queer-centered, atmospheric fiction that explores morally gray characters, complicated loyalty, and the things we carry with us - love, grief, fear, and the cost of belonging.

I’m currently based in Maine. My eight years working with children taught me to listen for the story beneath the surface, a practice that now shapes how I approach my characters. Outside of writing, I’m a painter and a piano and voice teacher, always seeking creative spaces where expression and connection meet.

My work is rooted in curiosity and honesty about the shared human experience, along with a deep reverence for the art of storytelling.

Maine Book Scout is my little corner for the books I find along the way - the beautiful, forgotten, strange, and well-loved ones. In the blog, I write about books, writing, and the ways stories continue to shape how I see the world.
